“Lori analyzed the site’s completed hot work permits and identified improvement opportunities for the hot work permitting process onsite. Now, Lori leads a weekly review to track the impacts of process improvements against baseline data. She began by participating in an event with frontline personnel and site leadership to revise, clarify and streamline the process. She initiated a pilot of the new process, obtained feedback and addressed it. To ensure consistency, she led an effort to revise the hot work procedure. Lori also worked with the site training group to revise the training for employees affected by these changes.”
