Orlando, FL — The On the Safe Side podcast made its NSC Safety Congress & Expo debut this past week with a pair of special episodes recorded live from the NSC booth at the Orange County Convention Center.

Hosts and Safety+Health Associate Editors Barry Bottino, Kevin Druley and Alan Ferguson talked about the day’s events, shared some of what they learned, and welcomed special guests Richard Hawk and Tim Page-Bottorff.

Hawk, a veteran safety pro, popular professional speaker and contributor to S+H with his monthly “All About You” column, and Page-Bottorff, senior safety consultant for SafeStart, shared their impressions of the first in-person Congress & Expo amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Produced monthly, “On the Safe Side” covers important safety topics and features interviews with leading voices in the profession. Along with the two special live mini-episodes, the group recorded an episode previewing this week’s event.
