Construction advisory committee schedules meeting to discuss proposed rule

Washington – The OSHA Advisory Committee on Construction Safety and Health has scheduled a special meeting (.pdf file) March 18 in Washington to consider proposed changes to two agency construction standards.

One proposed revision would update American National Standards Institute consensus standards in the Accident Prevention Signs and Tags Standard. The second proposal involves technical amendments and corrections to OSHA’s Cranes and Derricks in Construction Standard.

Comments or requests to speak at the meeting are due March 8.
