Newly re-established MACOSH to meet April 19-20

Washington – The first meeting with the new members of the Maritime Advisory Committee for Occupational Safety and Health is scheduled to take place April 19-20 in Washington.

On April 5, Secretary of Labor Hilda L. Solis announced the newly appointed 15 MACOSH members, who are tasked with advising Solis and OSHA on safety and health matters regarding employees in the maritime industry.

The public is invited to submit written statements or request to speak at the meeting by following the instructions in the April 5 Federal Register notice.
