OSHA to employers: Don’t forget to submit 2018 Form 300A data

August 13, 2019

Washington — OSHA is reminding employers covered under the Improve Tracking of Workplace Injuries and Illnesses final rule to submit their 2018 300A forms.

Establishments with 250 or more employees that are required to keep injury and illness records, as well as those with 20 to 249 employees in certain high-hazard industries, must comply with the regulation. The deadline to send in Form 300A, a yearly summary of injury and illnesses data, moved to March 2 beginning this year.

Citing worker and employer privacy concerns, OSHA on Jan. 25 issued a final rule that eliminated the requirement for employers to turn in the more detailed Forms 300 or 301.

To submit injury and illness data, go to osha.gov/300A. Questions for OSHA about submission requirements can be filed via a Help Request Form.
