OSHA to employers: Injury and illness summary must be posted by Feb. 1
Washington — OSHA is reminding employers covered under the Improve Tracking of Workplace Injuries and Illnesses final rule that they must post their 2019 300A forms in their workplaces from Feb. 1 to April 30.
The form, a summary of work-related injuries and illnesses recorded the previous year, must be posted in common work areas where employee notices are customarily placed. The rule applies to establishments with 250 or more employees and those with 20 to 249 employees in certain high-hazard industries. Employers with 10 or fewer employees or who work in certain low-hazard industries are not required to post the summary.
