Bringing you breaking news at NSC Congress & Expo
This year’s National Safety Council Congress & Expo returns home to Chicago for the conclusion of its 100th anniversary celebration. With several high-profile speakers, the opportunity is ripe for announcements.
One of my sources has told me there will be at least one announcement at the occupational keynote Tuesday, but I’m unsure of the details. Speakers for this keynote include NIOSH Director John Howard and OSHA administrator David Michaels.
I’ll be in attendance at the keynote and at Congress & Expo Monday through Wednesday. Along with my colleagues, I’ll be reporting breaking news on this website and our Twitter page. Whether you’re at the show or not, follow along to stay up to date on any major announcements coming out of this year’s Congress & Expo.
This will be the seventh show I’ve been to, and one of the main reasons I love attending is the opportunity to speak with readers. If you’re at the show and want to chat, please feel free to stop by the Safety+Health booth (#3631, next to the NSC Resource Center). The S+H staff also will be roaming the floors of the Expo and attending various keynotes, so feel free to say hi if you see us in passing.
Here’s to a great show.
