DOL renews maritime advisory committee

Washington – The Department of Labor on April 12 re-established the charter for the Maritime Advisory Committee for Occupational Safety and Health.

The committee, first chartered in 1995, advises the secretary of labor on issues related to safety and health in the maritime industry, including standards, injury and illness prevention, and training and enforcement initiatives.
