When

10/20/20 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm CDT

Event Description

This webinar will introduce and explain the ANSI/ASSP Z490 standards for environmental, health and safety training, Z490.1 (for all EHS training), and Z490.2 (for online EHS training). For Z490.1, we’ll explain how it parallels the ADDIE instructional design method and how to use that method. For Z490.2, we’ll discuss learning research on how and when to use different training delivery methods, including methods for creating a blended learning solution. Finally, we’ll introduce some key terms and ideas related to online safety training and end with some selection criteria for online safety training courses, learning management systems and providers.
