SmartBelt is a wearable belt that sends an incredible amount of previously unavailable worker data to the cloud via Wi-Fi. Eight sensors and GPS provide 125 data points on a worker’s motion and location every second. SmartBelt detects movements such as walking, sitting, driving, bending and twisting, and also can track a commercial motor vehicle driver’s speed, a worker’s prolonged bending or sitting, temperature and humidity, and an employee’s Metabolic Equivalent of Task score. Dashboard reports are accessible online or via mobile app.
