The Xplore 8700 Powered Air Purifying Respirator is specifically designed for work areas that require explosion protection. It offers ATEX and IECEx safety approvals, including an automated overcurrent shutdown that prevents sparking at the battery contacts and the encapsulation of high-voltage components to isolate electronics. The blower unit can be used in Ex zones 1, 2, 21 and 22. The IP65 certification ensures effective protection against dust and splash water.
