This move ensures business continuity and long-term stability for Hermes North America, a leading supplier of coated abrasives, while expanding WALTER’s existing expertise in coated abrasives and other safety solutions for the metalworking industry. WALTER will integrate Hermes’ high-quality abrasive products into its lineup quickly, ensuring customers have seamless access to a broader range of solutions across its distribution network.

Industrial Scientific in Pittsburgh recently announced its acquisition of Aeroqual, a leader in real-time environmental monitoring headquartered in Auckland, New Zealand. The move enhances Industrial Scientific’s worker safety vision and bolsters its portfolio of safety sensing technology offerings. Aeroqual provides its customers with highly accurate data gathering, deep reporting and analysis, and industry-leading service.

Nottingham, England-based Ideagen, a leader in software for regulated and high-compliance industries, has acquired SafetyStratus, a Plano, TX-based provider of enterprise environmental, health and safety software. SafetyStratus offers a wide-ranging EHS platform with a distinct focus on chemical management. This acquisition will allow Ideagen to offer Ideagen Chemical Management as a specialized platform within and alongside its existing EHSQ portfolio.
