NIOSH seeking participants for emergency responder initiative

Washington – NIOSH has launched an initiative aimed at better protecting responders before, during and after a large disaster.

The NIOSH Disaster Science Research Initiative to Enhance Responder Safety and Health will produce timely, scalable research that can be implemented at various phases of a disaster, according to the agency.

Anyone interested in participating in the initiative – including both researchers and responders – should contact Margaret Kitt at [email protected] or Lisa Delaney at [email protected].
