Motor carrier safety advisory subcommittee to meet in April

Washington – A subcommittee of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration’s Motor Carrier Safety Advisory Committee is scheduled to meet April 29-30 in Arlington, VA.

The Compliance, Safety, Accountability program’s subcommittee aims to develop and prioritize improvements to FMCSA’s CSA program and its Safety Measurement System, which provides safety ratings to truck and bus carriers. The subcommittee intends to submit recommendations to the full MCSAC in a meeting scheduled to take place on May 19-20.

A full agenda will be available on the MCSAC website prior to the April meeting, which will be open to the public. Comments to be considered at the meeting are due April 23.
