OSHA seeks to award $7 million in Susan Harwood grants

Washington – Applications are being accepted for OSHA’s Susan Harwood Training Grant Program.

The agency will make $7 million available to nonprofit organizations, employer associations, labor unions, and colleges for training and education programs that help workers and employers prevent safety and health hazards.

Two types of grants will be awarded:

- Digital Partners -
  • $3.5 million in Targeted Topic Training grants, which support the development of training programs or materials addressing workplace hazards and prevention strategies on topics designated by OSHA
  • $3.5 million in Capacity Building grants, which support the development and expansion of an organization’s ability to provide safety and health training and education to targeted audiences

Capacity Building grant applications are due June 26; Targeted Topic applications are due June 30.
