The most fatally abused drug is legal – and may be sitting in your medicine cabinet. Opioid overdoses kill more than 50 people every day. On April 30, the Drug Enforcement Administration is hosting National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day, and the National Safety Council is encouraging people to dispose of prescription drugs they no longer use at a local “Take-Back” location.
