Join the National Safety Council, the DuPage County Prevention Leadership Team, Gateway Foundation, A Man in Recovery, Live4Lali and LTM Foundation on Aug. 31 in Chicago for an event to help raise awareness about drug overdose.
International Overdose Awareness Day brings together those who have been affected by a drug-related death, to honor the lives lost and the loved ones left behind.
This year’s event begins at noon with a rally at Federal Plaza, 230 S. Dearborn St., followed by a one-hour program.
