Rockford Systems introduces the UNITROL Soft Touch Pinch-Point Safety System, the first and only fully passive safeguarding system designed to prevent a riveter or welder from applying force if it detects fingers in the point-of-operation. By measuring electrical continuity between electrodes, Soft Touch prevents the machine from delivering force onto the operator’s fingers.
