Protective Industrial Products Inc., a Latham, NY-based supplier of hand protection and general safety products, has acquired QRP Gloves Inc., headquartered in Tucson, AZ. Since 1974, QRP has been widely recognized as the leading supplier of specialty hand protection products designed and manufactured for the electronics and high-tech industries. The company offers a broad line of disposable gloves and finger cots used in a variety of industries, including laboratories, electronics and life sciences. “This acquisition of QRP solidifies PIP’s leading position as the supplier of gloves in the critical environment channel,” PIP President and CEO Joe Milot said.
