Protective Industrial Products Inc., a Latham, NY-based supplier of hand protection and general safety products, will be opening a 600,000-square-foot distribution center in Olive Branch, MS. The center will be outfitted with state-of-the-art pallet locations, logistics software and hardware systems that will result in enhanced efficiencies on all levels. This large, cross-docked facility increases inventory holding capacity by three times. At press time, the facility was slated to open Sept. 1.
