Protective Industrial Products Inc., a Latham, NY-based supplier of general safety products and supplies, has acquired Uniform Technology, headquartered in Longmont, CO. Since 1998, Uniform Technology, a manufacturer of high-tech specialty apparel servicing the semiconductor, electronics, pharmaceutical, biotech and aerospace industries, has specialized in providing innovative cleanroom and electrostatic discharge apparel products for contamination control. “This acquisition of Uniform Technology expands our product offering, further solidifying PIP’s position as a leading supplier of specialized gloves, supplies and apparel to the controlled environment market,” PIP President and CEO Joe Milot said.
