Protective Industrial Products Inc., a Latham, NY-based supplier of hand protection and personal protective equipment, has acquired Primax Manufacturing & Trading Inc. – and its Caiman brand – headquartered in La Mirada, CA. For more than 25 years, the Caiman brand has produced high- performance gloves and protective clothing for welders, utility workers and ranch workers. This acquisition adds the strength of the Caiman brand to PIP’s current line of trusted Ironcat weld- ing PPE and significantly expands PIP’s offering of high-performance gloves.
