Knees, back and shoulders the focus of new MSD prevention posters

Waterloo, Ontario — A Canadian safety group has added three posters – focused on reducing the risk of MSD injuries in the knees, shoulders and lower back – to its musculoskeletal injury prevention resource library.

The Center of Research Expertise for the Prevention of Musculoskeletal Disorders, based at the University of Waterloo, developed the resources as part of its webinar series designed for first responders and health care workers. Part of the center’s MSD Prevention Guideline, the posters provide examples of the correct and incorrect body positioning for common tasks that can’t be modified.
