Last month, I wrote about Richard Hawk’s column on camaraderie and how good it feels to be part of a group of great people working toward a shared goal. I hope you have that same feeling at your job. And next month brings you an opportunity to experience a special sense of camaraderie with thousands of people who, like you, are dedicated to making others safer.
The 2025 NSC Safety Congress & Expo, the largest annual occupational safety and health event, is set to take place Sept. 12-18 in Denver. If you’re looking for education, the week will be packed with Technical Sessions and Professional Development Seminars presented by some of the most respected names in the EHS community. Keynote Sessions will challenge and motivate you. And Learning Lab and Safety Huddle sessions invite questions and discussion.
It’s also a time to meet new people, check out both new and tried-and-true products and services, and see safety and health efforts recognized and celebrated.
And, of course, I’m going to take a moment here to promote Safety+Health. You’ll always find one or more members of the S+H team in our booth, which will be located inside NSC Central, the National Safety Council’s hub on the Expo Floor. We’d love to talk with you. We’re also making plans for our annual OSHA’s Top 10 presentation and the live recording of our On the Safe Side podcast. (Our guest: Brian Fielkow, who’ll be delivering the Leadership Keynote on Sept. 16.)
Check out the pages of this month’s issue of S+H for more details on the many ways you can be enriched, energized and inspired at the award-winning NSC Safety Congress & Expo.
Come be part of it. We hope to see you there!
