DOL announces appointees to maritime advisory committee

Washington – Fifteen people have been appointed to the Maritime Advisory Committee for Occupational Safety and Health.

Most members were appointed by Secretary of Labor Thomas Perez, a Feb. 4 press release announced, and many have previously served on the committee.

Four members represent management, four represent labor, three represent safety and health professions, three represent government and one member was appointed by the secretary of health and human services.
