If you’re a regular reader of Safety+Health, you know that many of the news briefs in our “In the News” and “Industry Beat” sections include the phrase “at press time.”
We do this because in the time lag between sending an issue of the magazine to the printer and having it arrive in your mailbox, things can change. Movement on legislation can take place, and comment periods on proposed rules or requests for information can be extended.
The same principle applies to this month’s extensive pre-show coverage of the 2021 NSC Safety Congress & Expo. The nation’s largest occupational safety and health event is scheduled to take place – with both virtual and in-person components – Oct. 8-14 in Orlando, FL.
But again, things can change. The National Safety Council is looking at available data, consulting with experts and working with local health authorities to determine the safest way to move forward and provide a high-quality experience.
In our coverage, we’ve taken special care to place boxes with reminders to check the Congress & Expo website for updated information.
