Protective Industrial Products Inc., a Latham, NY-based supplier of general safety products and supplies, recently acquired the assets of Boss Glove and Safety from Boss Manufacturing Co., headquartered in Kewanee, IL. For more than 120 years, Boss has supplied gloves, boots and protective wear to ranchers, industrial and construction workers, and hobbyists. “This is a great acquisition for PIP,” PIP President and CEO Joe Milot said. “Boss is one of the most well-respected brands in the industry, and along with this historic brand, Boss is also the global licensee for the Caterpillar brand in certified safety gloves and PPE.”
