Protective Industrial Products Inc., a Latham, NY-based supplier of hand protection and personal protective equipment to wholesalers and distributors worldwide, has announced the acquisition of Century Glove Inc. For more than 75 years, Century Glove has manufactured work gloves and accessories in the United States. “Century Glove will definitely add some unique products to our line and will add capacity for U.S. domestic-manufactured personal protective equipment,” said Joe Milot, president of PIP. The acquisition represents a personal milestone for PIP and Milot, who left Century Glove in 1984 to start PIP with partner Wellson Tao.
