Washington – FEMA recently announced the availability of a collection of reports aimed at improving firefighter safety and health.
The reports, which stem from a meeting hosted by the Illinois Fire Service Institute in 2010, include presentations on completed research, as well as concerns and implications of the findings. The meeting was funded in part by a Fire Prevention and Safety Research and Development grant from the Department of Homeland Security.
