The National Safety Council is pleased to announce the appointment of Deborah A.P. Hersman as its new president and CEO.
Hersman, the current chairman of the National Transportation Safety Board, will join the council at its headquarters in Itasca, IL. Hersman is a recognized leader in safety and understands the value of protecting human life through thoughtful attention and management of risk. The council looks forward to Hersman using her experience and expertise to lead NSC into its second century of saving lives and preventing injuries.
