The flame-resistant Expedition Balaclava has a soft, flexible plastic ventilator made with a proprietary resin blend. With compliance to ASTM D6413, NFPA 70E and NFPA 2112, this model defends against hazardous flames and electrical arcs while protecting the lungs, airway and face from damaging cold and dry air. Ventilation technology keeps temperatures inside the mask 40° F to 60° F higher than outside air.
