Washington – OSHA on April 15 announced revisions to its Outreach Training Program.
The new program requirements, formerly known as guidelines, include a trainer code of conduct and statement of compliance. Other changes include capping classroom size at 40 students, limiting translators to those with safety and health experience, and restricting time spent on videos.
OSHA also changed course content, set limits on outreach training outside of the agency’s jurisdiction and gave military members returning from overseas an additional 90 days from their return date to renew their trainer authorization, according to an agency press release.
