The five-day, in-person HAZWOPER Train-The-Trainer (HTTT) course covers the regulatory and training requirements of OSHA’s standard on hazardous waste operations and emergency response (1910.120). Topics include regulatory overview, chemistry and toxicology, hazard evaluation, monitoring, emergency response procedures, decontamination, personal protective equipment, medical surveillance, spill and leak control, and mitigation of hazards. The course also addresses employee training methods, instructional strategies, OSHA training guidelines and written program requirements. Demonstrations and hands-on simulations are included to meet experiential training requirements. The course is scheduled for March 23-27 in Wilmington, NC.
