NIOSH center revamps free online courses on Total Worker Health

Lowell, MA — The Center for the Promotion of Health in the New England Workplace says it has “refreshed” its four online Total Worker Heath training courses and moved them to a more user-friendly platform.

The self-paced courses are designed for students, practitioners and organizational leaders who want to deepen their understanding of the Total Worker Health approach, adds CPH-NEW – a NIOSH Center of Excellence based out of the University of Massachusetts-Lowell.

The free courses:

- Digital Partners -

Introduction to Total Worker Health Principles – focuses on foundational TWH concepts and their application to workers and safety professionals

Fundamentals of Total Worker Health Practice – describes how TWH concepts apply to professional practice in occupational safety, health and well-being fields

Total Worker Health Employer Crisis Preparedness – examines how to center employee well-being and safety during disaster preparedness planning

Total Worker Health for Students – provides a foundational introduction to TWH concepts and includes videos, readings, and interactive assessment and application activities

Continuing education credits are awarded after successful completion of the courses.
