This arc flash faceshield recently achieved a 20 cal/cm² arc rating, per ASTM F2178. It’s designed for integration with the STUDSON SHK1 safety helmet and features the LeverLock Attachment System, which connects the shield to the bracket to simplify shield replacement. Note: ASTM F2178 covers front-facing arc thermal protection only and doesn’t apply to side/back exposure, projectiles, molten metal, pressure, noise or electrical shock.
