Washington – OSHA has scheduled a public meeting on June 20 in advance of the 33rd session of the United Nations Sub-Committee of Experts on the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals.

OSHA and the U.S. Interagency GHS Coordinating Group are seeking comments and information to help construct the federal government’s official positions for the UNSCEGHS conference, scheduled for July 10-12 in Geneva, Switzerland.

The OSHA meeting, set for 1-4 p.m. Eastern at the Department of Transportation headquarters, will include an overview of working papers and news regarding its correspondence group. The agency also is expected to provide an update on the Regulatory Cooperation Council.
