Washington – The Federal Railroad Administration on June 28 published a notice of proposed rulemaking that would require certain railroads to develop plans to help employees who witness a traumatic event.

GAO: Rail safety technology may not be installed by 2015

Washington – U.S. railroads may not be able to fully implement a new rail safety technology by the deadline set by the Rail Safety Improvement Act, according to a Government Accountability Office report released June 19.
