The National Action Summit for Latino Worker Health and Safety is requesting abstracts for posters and exhibit tables through March 5.
The presentations must meet certain criteria, including a focus on improving the safety and health of Latino workers. Sponsored by OSHA and NIOSH, the summit is scheduled for April 14-15 in Houston.
It was announced last September by Secretary of Labor Hilda L. Solis as a “first-of-its-kind national dialogue and action summit” to improve the education of Latino workers about job hazards in construction and other high-risk industries.
