NIOSH’s National Personal Protective Technology Laboratory has scheduled a public meeting for Dec. 9 to discuss respirator standards development projects. The meeting will take place in Pittsburgh.
Meeting topics include updating the respiratory device rule (42 CFR part 84); Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear (CBRN) respirator performance requirements; and agency policy on self-contained breathing apparatus “buddy breathing” (two people sharing one air supply).
