Bandage

Alginate Bandages consist of calcium and sodium fibers made from seaweed spun into a flat dressing form. It transforms into a gel consistency when it comes into contact with exudates or moisture, and can absorb up to 20 times its weight in blood. Alginate fibers conform to the shape of the wound by swelling as they absorb moisture and exudates.
