The COV Hygien Xpress detection kit identifies SARS-CoV-2 – the coronavirus that causes COVID-19 – on common workplace surfaces. With results in 15 minutes, it can be used to ensure cleaning and sanitizing processes have been successful and, in post-COVID-19 situations, to reassure employees and customers. Targeting a specific internal protein that is abundant and mutates very little allows the kits to have a sensitivity and specificity equivalent to diagnostic kits. The simple-to-use, self-contained kit consists of five test strips, a dropper vial with buffer, five swabs, five tubes and stoppers, a tube holder and a quick-start instruction leaflet.
