The Ion-Charge 90 is engineered to provide robust fire protection, offering 90 minutes of resistance against fires from external and internal sources (type 90, tested to EN 14470-1 standards). Its design safeguards against thermal runaway, deep discharge, mechanical deformation and chemical reactions. Lockable doors with a permanent self-closing function keep contents safe from unauthorized personnel. Sockets for connecting chargers are included, as are perforated shelves to help dissipate heat buildup during the charging process. A collection sump located at the bottom of the cabinet is designed to catch any leakage that may occur from burning batteries.
