The SpiralFeeder flexible screw conveyer features an optional dust cover that prevents fine powders from escaping into the work environment during material transfer. The cover helps reduce worker exposure to fine particles and decreases the risk of combustible dust explosions while creating a fully sealed system from infeed to discharge. This option is ideal for when workers are transferring flour, sugar, carbon black, lime, alumina, bentonite and other dry solids with light bulk densities.
