The Terex Positive Attachment Lanyard device provides an audible warning when the boom controls of a bucket truck are engaged and a lanyard hasn’t been attached to the anchor point. When a worker properly hooks a lanyard to the attachment point, a switch is activated, signaling that the device is attached. If a worker isn’t clipped in and tries to operate the boom, an alarm sounds. PAL doesn’t prevent the aerial from moving.
