Columbia Southern University’s Bachelor of Science in occupational safety and health is available with an industrial hygiene concentration to promote safety in the workplace. Students will explore health hazard recognition, evaluation and control, in addition to occupational epidemiology and IH management. The program focuses on evaluating environmental stressors that could lead to injury, illness or discomfort among workers. Students also will analyze principles and practices used to identify IH hazards and propose research-based solutions.
