The Board of Certified Safety Professionals, located in Indianapolis, recently welcomed two members to its executive team: Marya Ryan, Ph.D., PMP, CAE, as chief operating officer and J.A. Rodriguez Jr., CSP, ASP, as chief strategy officer.

The Indianapolis-based Board of Certified Safety Professionals has announced its new board members and officers for 2021.

BCSP provides accredited safety certifications – including CSP, SMS, ASP, OHST, CHST, STS, STSC and CIT – that lead to promising careers in the safety, health and environmental industry.

The Board of Certified Safety Professionals began in 1969 as a peer certification board. Its sole purpose is to certify practitioners in the safety profession.

The Board of Certified Safety Professionals Foundation, a 501(c)(3) committed to the advancement of safety professionals through direct investment in workforce development, has announced a strategic partnership with EMCOR Group Inc. to create the Certified Safety Practitioners Fund.

BCSP provides accredited safety certifications – including CSP, SMS, ASP, OHST, CHST, STS, STSC and CIT – that lead to promising careers in the safety, health and environmental industry.

The Board of Certified Safety Professionals, headquartered in Indianapolis, has been closely monitoring the COVID-19 pandemic and is aware of the ways in which it has negatively impacted its certificants’ ability to earn recertification points.

BCSP provides accredited safety certifications – including CSP, SMS, ASP, OHST, CHST, STS, STSC and CIT – that lead to promising careers in the safety, health and environmental industry. CSP certification has been recognized as the “gold standard” for 50 years.
