Washington — OSHA is reminding employers of the March 2 deadline to submit their 2022 Form 300A data electronically.
Establishments with 250 or more employees and those with 20-249 employees in certain high-hazard industries must submit the yearly summary of injury and illnesses data. If unsure, employers can check OSHA’s website to see if they’re required to do so – based on their state, peak number of employees in 2022, North American Industry Classification System code and government/non-government facility.
The data can be submitted in three ways via the Injury Tracking Application website:
- Manually
- By uploading a CSV (comma-separated values) file to add multiple establishments at the same time
- Via an application programming interface
Be advised: New login procedures, using Login.gov, went into effect in October. OSHA has a video explaining the account creation process.
Also, the agency is reminding employers of the requirement to post Form 300A in a visible location at the workplace through April 30.
