“For the past two decades, the industry has relied on the annual Top Industry Issues Survey to highlight the challenges facing our nation’s supply chain,” ATA Chair Andrew Boyle said in a press release. “ATRI’s research provides an opportunity for thousands of trucking industry professionals – from drivers to executives – to weigh in on the most critical topics that affect our day-to-day operations and collectively decide on the best strategies for addressing each.”

The deadline to complete the survey is Sept. 27. The results are set to be released Oct. 12 during the 2024 ATA Management Conference and Exhibition in Nashville, TN.

Multiple safety-related issues made the 2023 list, including safe truck parking (second), driver distraction (seventh) and driver detention/delay (ninth).
