Editor’s Note: Survey says

This month, Safety+Health presents the results of our annual Salary Survey. Big thanks to everyone who received the email questionnaire and responded. We know you have a lot of demands on your time, and we appreciate your spending some of it on us.

Our team is asked to fill out a lot of surveys too, in both our professional and personal lives. It’s made us think harder about S+H’s slate of annual surveys – the Salary Survey, Job Outlook and Training Survey – and whether you find the results useful.

Not surprisingly, the Salary Survey is the most popular of the three. So we’re pleased to say that, in 2023, we’ll be partnering with the Board of Certified Safety Professionals on it, as we did in 2020.

We’ll also be sending out – don’t laugh – another survey. But this one’ll be different. It’s an overall S+H reader survey, and it’ll ask for opinions on the different sections of the magazine, the type of content we feature, the topics we cover and more. The results are really important to us because they give our team a good picture of what you want from the magazine and how we can do better. That includes whether you think the Job Outlook and Training Survey are worthwhile.

If you receive the reader survey (likely sometime in the spring), we’d be grateful if you’d complete it. We take the results very seriously, and we read every comment.

And if you have thoughts you want to share but don’t want to wait, please reach out anytime. We love hearing from you.
