Washington — The National Advisory Committee on Occupational Safety and Health has scheduled a virtual public meeting for Nov. 16.
According to a tentative agenda published in the Nov. 1 Federal Register, heat illness and risk-based safety will be discussed. In addition, OSHA and NIOSH officials plan to provide updates on their work. The meeting is slated for 1 p.m. Eastern.
The 12-member committee advises, consults with and makes recommendations to the secretaries of labor and health and human services on matters relating to workplace safety and health.
For anyone wishing to speak or submit comments, the deadline is Nov. 9.
